My name is Meghan McClain, and I am originally from Springfield, IL.
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Neuroscience and Behavior & a Master of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering. As a graduate student, I spent one year as a
graduate research assistant in the Computer Vision Research Lab (CVRL) under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Bowyer and Dr. Adam Czajka. For my graduate research project, I trained a siamese neural network to compare the similarity of iris images using a triplet loss function. With our two-part study design, we were able to see if a human or a machine can more accurately detect monozygotic iris images.
I just recently graduated with a masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. I'm especially interested in automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. I really enjoy learning and taking on new challenges and I am passionate about having a non-zero-sum game mentality. I'm currently a Data Scientist at Procter & Gamble.
